- Begin by separating pieces. Twist off the lid, then the spout. Pull straw out from the spout
- There is a key mechanism in the middle of the lid made to align precisely with the spout for a perfect seal every time. Twist and pull this key mechanism hard to remove
- Take out the gasket around the key mechanism and the ring gasket around the spout piece
- Remove the carry loop before washing
- The key mechanism, spout, both gaskets, and straw can all be placed in the utensil case of the dishwasher
- Hand wash the base and lid (or use Ecobrite tablets)
